Missing Modules

Post by Fordsme » Thu Jun 13, 2019 9:36 pm

Hi Is there a reason why I cannot see any other modules than the ones displayed?. I tried Debug mode and normal, reconnected many times, changed USB port, but always the same modules show up. Any ideas?

sounds like your adapter doesnt support both ms-can and hs-can. which is why you are missing modules

When forscan starts up it will ask for the profile to load. do not select that one and create a new one. I will then scan for all modules again and not just the ones found in the profile. If at that point it is still not showing. Start forscan with the switch in the opposite position on the adapter that might just kick them in for you. If at that point you still not getting any modules check the following site to make sure you have them installed on your vehicle
http://motorcraftservice.com/asbuilt

if you do then i would suggest trying another adapter or try your adapter on another vehicle that you know does have the modules you seem to have missing and see if they can be found.

My thought would be is that the adapter is at fault and get another one.
