Need OBD-1 Adapter for 1994 Town Car

Post by TC2011AMF » Thu May 09, 2019 11:44 pm

Hi Everybody ! Is there an adapter available that can connect FORSCan to my 1994 Town Car with the OBD-1 connection socket ?

Thanks for any leads !

I searched this forum, but there were no matches found for OBD-1.

Afraid not. FORScan will only connect to 1996 and newer vehicles equipped with OBD-II.

If you're looking for trouble codes, the OBD-I connector under the hood can be jumpered, and you can read flash codes from the check engine light. It's been a while since I had a pre-1996 car so I don't remember the exact procedure, but it's easily found on Google.
