Hi all

I have only the possibility to read CYL_BALANCE PID. No CYL_RATIO option is shown in FORScan with my Focus 1.8 TDCi (KKDA engine).

So, here are the results of the monitoring:

Problem with all the 4 injectors?

I think that your injectors work more or less equal. But to be 100% you have to put them on a test bench, or make a leak off test with bottles. How engine runs when cold? Any smoke, shake or unstable idle? I installed brand new injectors with waranty and i have much worse cylinder balances. I noticed also engine shakig on gearbox side when the cold outside (around zero or less) for a while with clutch pressed or not.

Test bench... I don't know the term in Spanish, I will investigate :D

My engine runs rough when it's cold outside (less than 10ºC).

Some blue smoke during the first two seconds of switching the engine on.

No shakes or unstable idle, only rough feeling.

Test bench is a machine for injector test. Did you test glowplugs? They preheat engine and work for 90 seconds from start up. Can you catch the video to see how does it run? How many km do you have? Rough feeling on a clutch or inside the car? Does it run like this ?

OK, thanks. Yes, glowplugs work, but I didn't check if they work for 90" from start up.

Kilometers: 356.000.

Rough feeling is without clutching, you get vibrations inside the car and rough feeling in the sound.

My engine runs similar to the video you posted.

Take a look with forscan data (the same you posted) from the begining. Look at the glowplug wire, check if you get app 10V on each glowplug. Use multimeter. If you don't know how i can demonstrate you. You can also try to disconect egr valve and you will see if there is any difference. But i think that it might be problem with injector(s). Try first with a good injector cleaner.

About multimeter, my father will help me.

About EGR, it is already blocked by a steel plate, but I can try disconnecting it.

Injector cleaner has been used twice: first time, maybe 70.000 km. ago (Xenum Ultimate Diesel) and last time just 7.000 km. ago (Liqui Moly Diesel Spulung). No changes at all.

It is true that I drive reving it well and I do not have any smoke from exhaust.

Well, i think that we have common problems. If you want, i will report you what was wrong (if i find the problem). Do you have still the first one clutch? Somethimes are flywheels problems for rouhg running. But they also vibrate a lot.
