Anyone run into issues with freezing installing 3.8. I was running into usb detection issues then finally got this to somewhat install. seems to freeze at 3/15. Had the car running while doing the update and I let it run for an hour at least.

I have the 3.10 update from ford. Can i try to get that installed and still have the ability for the navigation? Or is it best to do it with 3.8 then do the 3.10 update?

I did the update from Ford (actually Lincoln) and 3.10 installed and the Navigation is still there. The nice thing about 3.10 it updates the navigation to the latest AG file. What version of Sync are you updating from?

According to Riochim on this site you can. https://forum.xda-developers.com/window ... st77728097

Riochim is very knowledgeable and I have used his information to do mine starting at 3.8. The good thing about 3.10 from Ford is that it include the latest Nav AG file so you don't have to add it after. Also Forscan has now a setting you change: Activate Navigation yes or no - like this:

download/file.php?mode=view&id=3874
Just hit enable and it will make the change. You still may need to do the png file.
