Using an ODB-II emulator to program Sync on the bench

Post by bcg » Sat Oct 13, 2018 4:28 am

I have an OBD-II emulator and Sync connection cable I bought to be able to work on the Sync on the bench instead of having to install it into my truck. I'm using a bbfly Pro bluetooth adapter that works fine through my truck however, I'm having trouble using it with this cable. First, when I connect, if I tell it not to use a saved vehicle, it says it can't connect and to check that the key is on. If I use a saved vehicle profile, it will connect but then when I go to program the As Built data in the APIM, it says the Service Procedure has been interrupted. I'm at a complete loss, can anyone
