2007 Mazda 5: unable to access air condition module on MS-CAN

Post by Clueless1 » Sun Aug 12, 2018 9:43 pm

SW: FORScan 2.3.16 beta
ELM327: ‘Ford’ Bluetooth clone (with small MS/HS switch)
Car detected: “Mazda5 (Euro STG3/4/5 and General market)/i-MAX LF 2.0L 2007 MY”

I am trying to fix my air condition system, which periodically fails. Unfortunately no air condition control module seems reachable. I can see neither EATC (Electronic Automatic Temperature Control) nor ACCM (Air Conditioning Control Module)
Is that expected for a 2007 Mazda 5?

Observation:
- FORScan can only see these 6 modules: PCM, OBDII, ABS, EPS, IC and RCM.
- I get the same result regardless if the switch is in HS-CAN or MS-CAN position
- The 2.3.16 beta software does not request that I operate the HS/MS-switch during synchronization
Is that normal or should I see more modules? Which other modules should be present?
