FCIM module 2017 Expedition

Post by 17LimitedExpy » Thu May 17, 2018 6:14 pm

Im trying to add a Heated Steering Wheel to my 2017 Ford Expedition. Part of the module changes I need to make is enabling HSW master function in the Front Controls Interface Module.

I have the latest version of FORScan and FORScan sees my FCIM (see pic), but I’m unable to access/change any settings in the module. Does anyone have suggestions of how to access the FCIM module? Is it possible to access the module on 2015-2017 Expeditions?

Thanks.

As far as we know, FCIM module have no As Built data (on any Ford models after 2011).

We have no information about configuring anything through FCIM. If you provide a reference (please PM), we will check.

Update:

Further analysis show that this is not very correct, as some new models seems to have As Built data for FCIM. Examples: F-150 2015+, 2018 Expedition. In any case, FORScan checks for ABD blocks presence, and if they are available, it will display the "Module Configuration (As Built format)" function. If function is not avaiable in the list, it means FORScan has not found ABD blocks. There is a small chance that blocks have a non-standard location or wasn't read (ex. because of adapter problems), so it does make sense to contact us for investigations.

Howdy;

EDIT - ahhh... the Dev's just beat me to it by 1 minute, lol!

FCIM appears to have as-built data...

From Livnitup's spreadsheet - FCIM tab:
