Is the negative reading of chain stretch normal? I got -6.88?! Cant find answer anywhere. Please help.

The value itself is not correct of course, but + 6.88 would be a reasonable value for a timing chain. How many km/miles has your car got on the clock? If you feel unsure, try the Torque-App. For my car both apps show identical values (6.7 to 7.0) at now 75'000km.

Torque app doesnt show anything?! Can it be that chain is shorter or sensor for mesurement is damaged? Interestingly, figure goese from -7 to - 6.88 when engine is warmed up-

Did you try the forescan app? If the value were negative again, you could try another obd reader.
