Navigation lockout while moving

Post by tandw09 » Tue Oct 18, 2016 5:53 pm

Hi. I know there has been some discussion in the past about being able to edit the Sync 2 Navigation while the vehicle is moving.
Is there an accepted procedure to disable the Navigation lockout while moving? Thanks.

In a 2013 Explorer the APIM 7D0-02-01 block contains the data you would need to change.

Assuming that you're US, your data should be either 4153 or 5553. If you change that to read 5753 then you should have full navigation while moving.

I have not tried using 4753 yet but I want to see if that works as well.

In the new Forscan - APIM Module Configuration I have an: Ability to change address in motion - enabled or disabled.

Have a look there. There are also some other enable/disable settings there plus setting your country code.
