Trying to connect 2017 F-150

I down loaded everything but keeps telling me no ELM is found. ???????

All I want to do is turn on the trailer brakes. Locally I checked 3 dealerships and they wanted anywhere from $150 - $200 and 2 weeks out.

This is not a Forscan issue. Rather it is a connectivity issue between your OBII adapter and your computer.

So you need to go through the usual troubleshooting steps when there are issues with connecting new hardware to a PC.

Right click on my computer go to properties. From there go to device manager. Remover device of the serial cable obdII right click refresh and see if that works. You can also right click update driver and search online for it.
