Disable DRL completely 2019 F350

Post by Oli108 » Fri May 22, 2020 3:18 pm

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and Forscan in general. I would love some advice. I have a 2019 F350 and purchased Moriomoto LED headlights. We bought our truck from the state of Washington, which got it from Canada after being built in America by Ford. Our truck is called "Type One Conventional (non-configurable", which means I can't disable my DRL's from my dash cluster. So, I purchased Forscan software in order to disable the DRL's. In order for the Morimoto DRL's to work during the day, my master DRL needs to be disabled. I just seem to not make that happen- I've looked at the spreadsheet, which is awesome. I've already changed my temperature gauges to actually show the temps in my dash. So I know the software works........ Thanks in advance for any insight into how to properly disable my master DRL

Those with Canadian Trucks (mine is a 2018 F-350 XLT Canadian Version w/ DRL) - I was able to disable my DRL (I am in USA now) by changing 726-45-01 to the xxxx 7Fxx xxxx, then 726-50-01 to 017F, and then a third thing which was to change 726-16-02 from 0202 0202 024F to 0101 0101 0049. Before I did this third change I could only turn off the top set of halogens and not the bottom half. Now I have them all disabled. Thanks to Livinitup in the f-150 forum.

I want to personally THANK YOU for your post and reply. I was finally able to sit down yesterday and follow your configurations in FORScan. I was able to disable my DRL's. My Moriomoto's WORK properly and my DRL's run during the daytime without my low beams, and at night everything works perfectly. Excellent POST
