Ford Galaxy MK3 2011 new ECU initialization

Post by przemek_x » Thu Mar 26, 2020 6:26 pm

Hi. I have got Galaxy MK3 2011 2.0 TDCi. The Car had an accident and ECU unit has been smashed. I've bought new ECU with exactly the same numbers. I've done pcm initialization and car still doesn't start. There is immo active on the screen and fault U0426 incorrect datafrom immo. Tried do recode both keys again and still the same. Anybody can help me with it? Looks like forscan has done initialization incorrectly. I've got elm327 with switch for hs ms scan and extended license .

See if you can find "reset learned parameters" or something like that under the pcm functions. You need to re:initialize it to establish communication between immo and pcm. Then you should be able to program the keys. Thats what I had to do on the mustang.

Ok. Will try tomorrow. There was something like reset to factory settings but I've done only initialization pcm. Will report if that help. Thank you for your reply.
