I haven't seen anyone do this yet, but I'm hoping I'm not the first....I am putting in an upgraded cluster and tap/manual shift capable shifter in my 2013 F-150. The cluster I am putting in came with the manual shift option and it should have very similar as-builts as it came out of the same year, 4wd XLT truck that closely resembles mine.
I'm hoping that everything will be plug and play and that manual shift will be enabled at the time of the swap. If not, does anyone know where to even start to try and get the manual shift enabled?
Also, is it absolutely necessary to program my as-builts to the upgraded cluster or would I be better off just enabling/disabling stuff as needed?
