Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
hi could i get a license to clear the fault codes on my 2001 ford falcon AU series 3 thankyou
Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
You don´t need a license for deleting fault codes. License is needed for extended functionality like PATS programming or module configuration only.

Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
hi guys, firstly thank you for accepting my registration details. I have used Forscan for many years and now need the PATS program keys function, so reading the forum I see I need to apply for Temp Extended licence.
I'm posting this on here so you can check me out as I agree that villains could use this software to steal our cars.
I will send my request to the contact@forscan ? the email I received verifying my ref confirmation along with my Forscan serial number
I've transpalnted a ST 2.2 engine/box with keys, ECU and transciever into my Ghia X 2.0 130 estate car. I've got full electrics but when igniton is turned to 3 to start, nothing,
flashing Coil light and my DTC is PATS not recognised, invalid key
thanks
Simon

You can get Extended license without requesting anything from support. Please read first post of this topic for detailed information

Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
quick update
thanks for the link for the Extended licence.
I reprogrammed my keys and the car burst into life!
I've transplanted the Euro 4 2.2 into my Euro 4 2.0, strange how the keys lost their code? though I have seen cars do this when the battery has gone flat and been left for ages (Nissan micra falls to mind)
thanks again

Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
So the same request comes out over and over. I have downloaded the beta program. I have generated the trial key.
I have generated 2 trial keys I load the keys into the program and it still says I need the extended licens . Maybe the same questions are not being answered
The issue is for those that have the program working correctly on their PC can see the extended license
Maybe a true introduction to the program from someone who is new to the program will help
RATHER THAN SAYING READ FIRST POST
Its no help to those that can do their own thing and are being sent into a loop of read first post. Try from scratch remove your registry entries and reinstall the for scan program see what happen .

If this happens after:coopcity6 wrote: I have generated 2 trial keys I load the keys into the program and it still says I need the extended licens . Maybe the same questions are not being answered
1. Latest FORScan version is installed (ATM v2.3.1)
2. License key is correctly generated, download and applied
Then the only reason for such a problem is incorrect data on your PC (should match to the 2-months interval the license is generated for).
This issue was discussed several times on this forum already. We guess we need to create some F.A.Q. to simplify the troubleshooting.
