2018 Econoline Cruise Control

Post by b_derksen » Sat May 23, 2020 3:50 pm

Does anyone know of a link to an as built cheat sheet for 2018 Econoline? Have added steering wheel / clockspring into a 2018 E-450 6.2L and need to enable in the PCM. The PCM configuration in Forscan is done thru as built configuration only, can't find a cheat sheet anywhere as there's probably very few people modding Econolines.

Within IDS it is a programmable parameter under PCM but IDS keeps coming up with a PCM part number mismatch issue when trying to change any PCM parameters even though it is an original PCM and has been reprogrammed yet that mismatch does not go away. Now trying to get cruise enabled with Forscan instead.

Got it to work. Found a VIN with a similar spec plus cruise, got the as built file for it, changed this one to match and cruise works.

Helli!
And can you tell which lines you made changes and what changes were?
I get 18 fusion ecoboost 1.5 w/acc and speed limit, which I made by myself. I can not figure it out yet with speed limit.

I would be very grateful for your support

Econoline and Fusion IPC are probably very different. Do the same procedure....find a vehicle with similar features and cruise control. Copy the entire IPC as built file and load it into your IPC. If there are problems, study the data and see what is different.
