Incompatible configuration error
Incompatible configuration error
2013 F150 Ecoboost 3.5 FX4
Tried to change my tire size using Forscan. My speedo shows 77 when I am at 75 and is the closest I can get it using the X4 tuner I bought. I prefer it be dead on.
275/65/20 tires comes out as 0A45 for 275 65 20 tires. I input this on 726-12-01 and select write and I get Incompatible configuration when it tries to write. I then default back to 000C in the blank.
Is this the tire size correction in the tune from the X4 causing issues?

Re: Incompatible configuration error
I removed the tune and went back to stock. Then loaded the tune without changing the tire rpm setting in the X4 programmer. Still is 000C. Still cannot change it and I get Incompatible configuration when I try.
Re: Incompatible configuration error
Now I am finding out that tire size is located at 726-45-01 for 2013. This should be on the calculation spreadsheet and it is not.
I am now getting VIN DTC's and a CEL after this.

Re: Incompatible configuration error
After attempting tire size change and failing to get any acceptable result that is not 4 to 5 mph off plus or minus, I am now stuck with a Code: P0630 - VIN Not Programmed or Incompatible - ECM/PCM DTC.
This free program is now getting costly. Does anyone know how to resolve this DTC? I have cleared faults but it immediately returns.

Re: Incompatible configuration error
I have have the same issue, i recently changed tire sizes form a 235/75R17 to a 255/75R17 Duratrac. The speedometer is about 2-4 mph off but I want it to be accurate. So i go the the BdyCM as built and put in the code that i got from the spread sheet calculator wich is (09AA), i put that in to the 726-12-01 column and then i get (Writing Block 12 failed - incomplete configuration). The stock codes are 726-12-01 [000] [000F] [4F] I really don’t know what to do because I don’t whant to screw my truck up please help.

Re: Incompatible configuration error
I have abandoned Forscan completely. Its just not worth it taking chances with lacking or misinformation. Good luck not screwing your vehicle up.

Re: Incompatible configuration error
I figured it out. I found that the code for the 13’s needed to be imputed to a different location like you sed. I did get that trouble code but i just did the relearn and cleard the code. ForScan is pretty good overall for a free software but the issues and misinformation came from the YouTube vids people put out. I found the original tread on the form that filled in all the blanks and was very helpful. No problems so far and the speedometer is pretty darn accurate. I could make a proper video if people are have the same problems as i did. Beats going to the Stealership
