"Lifetime Licence" on multiple PCs
"Lifetime Licence" on multiple PCs
I've used FORScan a couple of times (and I have purchased the Android app), and I'm extremely happy with it - happy enough that I'm quite willing to pay for the Lifetime Licence.
However, I'm worried that it's tied to one PC. If I'm going to pay for a lifetime licence, I'm sure I'm going to change laptops more than a few times over my lifetime! Can you guys put something in writing about moving the licence to a different PC, and how often it can be done?

License is usually locked to pc. Why worry about the future.

Exactly my point.
> Why worry about the future.
Because I'm not a millionaire, and if I spend $100 I would rather not have to spend ANOTHER $100 because my hard drive died.
Exactly my point.

Re: "Lifetime Licence" on multiple PCs
Its not that expensive, in fact for a month only, its free.
Re: "Lifetime Licence" on multiple PCs
It can be transferred. Here is a quote from the email I received when I bought the lifetime license. See the part in bold.
Thanks for using FORScan!
Please activate your license(s) as the following:
1) Make sure you have latest version of FORScan for WIndows installed (2.3.19 or more new).
2) Run FORScan and go to the About section (last item in the main menu).
3) Press "Enter Activation Code" button.
4) In the dialog opened please enter the activation code you received in email. Note: we strongly recommend copy & past the code (not type manually) to avoid mistakes.
5) Wait for activation result and confirm restart of FORScan. Note: if activation fails, please check your PC firewall settings and make sure FORScan outcoming connections are not blocked.
6) After restart the Extended License is installed and application is ready for use.
The activation code is valid during the whole license validity period. In case of laptop replacement, Windows reinstallation etc you may need to use the code to activate FORScan Extended license again. Please keep the activation code safe.
In case of problems with activation, please contact FORScan Support Team.

Is that the answer you were looking for?
Re: "Lifetime Licence" on multiple PCs
Sorry the "help" which i give for free, was not helpful. But really i don,t give a s8it. I don,t come on here looking for help i use functions like "search" in stead of being a fat lazy git, as in "you".
Re: "Lifetime Licence" on multiple PCs
It doesn't SOUND like you're sorry. In fact, it sounds like you're trying to justify being useless. And the "help" you gave was, luckily, 100% incorrect.
Yes. Which said it's tied to a PC. Did you even READ my question? I'm going to assume that you do not speak english natively - so let me give you a bit of advice. You are coming across as *extremely* aggressive, and also *extremely* useless.
When you try to answer a question, if you are not 100% certain what the questioner is asking, you should ask for clarification.
Your answer said that I should re-purchase the lifetime licence each time I upgraded or re-installed my PC. That is wrong.
