I have a 2018 Flex Limited. We just bought it used. It came with two keys.
In the dash display it shows 2 MyKeys and one Admin key, though the words for the Admin key seem to be greyed out.
How do I make one or both MyKeys into Admin keys?
Two MyKeys, No Admin Key
Re: Two MyKeys, No Admin Key
There are many topics with MyKey. Not correct that you post without search.
Re: Two MyKeys, No Admin Key
Just looked in my 2015 Fusion Owners manual and it states that you need an admin key to clear one or all MyKeys. I'd take it back to the dealership and demand that they reprogram both fobs to admin and of course for free. I don't understand why they wouldn't have done that when they received the used vehicle.

Thank you for your help.
I did spend quite a bit of time searching, and did not find anything applicable. But I appreciate your attempt at helping.
Probably because this wasn't purchased from a Ford dealer.theandies wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 8:55 pmJust looked in my 2015 Fusion Owners manual and it states that you need an admin key to clear one or all MyKeys. Erase all keys, and reprogram the ones you have. They will both, then, be adminstrator keys.

Alternatively, if the vehicle is equipped with a dealer-installed or aftermarket remote start, that is probably the third key that is an administrator. If that's the case, you can remote start the vehicle while sitting inside, and while it's running on the remote start, access the MyKey menu and erase all MyKey's.
