Getting turn info from Nav on Insutrument cluster

Post by theandies » Wed May 15, 2019 11:34 pm

I just successfully enabled navigation on my 2015 Explorer without any issues. Thanks to all that made this possible especially the Forscan team.
I own another Ford that came with navigation and in it it has the next turn information to the right of the speedo and the right display has a navigation menu item. On my Explorer that I just enabled nav on it doens't have this. Does anyone know if it's possible to enable this and know which module it would be in and the address and what bit(s) to change. My guess is the IPC module.
Thanks

Set a destination and see if that works.

I'll try that but on my Fusion there is a menu item - Navigation on the right IPC display and when I select that without a destination it shows the compass. The Explorer that I just added nav to doesn't show the IPC menu item.

On the link @lenko provided, go to the sheet "IPC type 2", first line of the second set "Navigation (Replace Compass) 11-15MY".

Thanks Omar302 - Last night I didn't have the chance to look over the link. I see it now and will give it a try once I get my OBDII modified with the HS/MS switch and report back for the community.
