FORSCAN Question on 2011 Lincoln MKS

Post by Quasar3210 » Mon Mar 18, 2019 11:11 pm

Hi all, Just got a bluetooth obd reader and got Forscan. I have a 2011 Lincoln MKS with the 3.7 V6 and AWD. Not having a whole lotta luck finding any very specific info for memy car. Is it ok to just use the Taurus info I find throughout the forum. I am mostly interested in setting for fogs on with high beams, adjusting tire size and possibly deactivating front park sensors and maybe seatbelt dingers. I am also trying to chase down a short to ground in my interior lamps. Hopefully there might be tests to help me find the short. Any advice for a Forscan Newb? Looking forward to being around and eventually helping others.

Hi I have a 2011 Taurus and I'm having problems getting into the BCM that module just don't show up in Forscan. When you load your modules in forscan can you see the module BCM? Have a look at my post and you can see what modules I get to show up. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8963

The bluetooth ones do give problems, if you read other postings.

Quasar3210 What are you looking to do with you Lincoln? The MKS is has most of the options you could add to a Taurus.
