Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
Tazz,
Thanks. I was able to follow that. My id was different, but after modifying it, it still wouldn't load the extended license. I've tried merging it as well, it says everything was added to the registry. still no good. Not sure what to do next. I've emailed support on the website, waiting to hear back. Maybe they can do a remote access to figure this out. Thank you again for your help.

Did you also make sure your key in the registry is same as it is in the license you downloaded?jamesswright wrote: ↑Tue Oct 23, 2018 12:59 amTazz,

Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
Tazz,
Yes I did. It still didn't work. Today I decided to try something different. When I downloaded the extended license, I changed the file name to just "License" and saved it to my desktop. I tried the merge again, and magically it worked! I wonder if the problem was that the download had the same file name as the program? I was able to shut off the tpms on my work truck with no issues.
Just wanted to let you know that it worked out and to thank you again for tutoring my pc disability.

just got key last night won't load by either method listed what's the trick?
Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
Extended license doesn't work for me as well. The keys have been added to registry by using "load license key" button (I confirmed that using regedit), but the application still says "standard license". I run 2.3.18 beta on Gentoo Linux using Wine.
Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
It works correctly if I install Forscan on Windows 7 in VirtualBox on my desktop, but unfortunately I can't run VirtualBox on my laptop. Not sure what the problem is with Wine, because this licensing functionality seems really basic, while the complicated stuff - car connection and data reading - works perfectly.
Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
I am ashamed I did not search the forum prior to posting that. If I did I would find this: https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php ... inux#p7941
I guess I'm out of luck then

Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows
