Hello forum,
I am new to this forum, and frankly all forums, so please bare with any noob type dumb errors I may make. Reason I lucked out and found this is due to a mishap of all lost keys on my girlfriends 05 Focus. Through the amazing web I learned about PATS, and how it is configured. Now I’m waiting for the elm327, one for forscan and has the switch. I will be borrowing a friends laptop, so my question is, when I submit the information needed to generate keys is there a wait period? I thought maybe I should read through the forum to find this answer but I wouldn’t get the chance to say hi 👋

How do I get an extended license? The only generator i see still says "trial" license and when I apply it to the program it still says "standard license". also is the program able to push as built data and mileage to a new cluster module?

I have read and when I click on the link given..http://forscan.org/forum/extlic.php it says generate extended license at the top, but the license type still says "trial" . not sure how to get that changed to "extended".

The extended license IS a trial license. It will expire after some time.

Maybe you did not install the extended license correctly in ForScan... try again, read carefully the instruction in the 1st post.
If I remember well, there might be issues also when the clock of the PC is not correct.

I used the "load license key" button and it prompted to restart the application and did not give any errors. My pc clock is set correctly. I have tried this on both Windows 10 and Windows XP computers with same results.
