2018 Ford Escape BdyCM editing

Post by 88a5tq » Sat Mar 30, 2019 7:18 pm

Hello, so I've tried editing the BdyCM to turn off start/stop module on my boss's new Escape but I am not getting the Central Configuration page that others were showing where it's just all numbers and code that you can edit. Mine shows this with the two cords I've tried (both with switch):

Will editing the shown setting have any affect? I tend to believe no. I was originally looking for this setting:

"BCM 726-48-02 x0xx xxxx xx

FCIM 7A7-01-01 xxxx x0xx xx (optional - disables switch)
IPC 720-01-01 xxxx 1xxx xx (optional - disables stop/start message center on 2017 F150)"

Please I need some help on my next step. Thank you!

Hi ZW, I'm not sure I follow. I have not gotten to the code screen to even disable start/stop at this point. It's funny you mention ABS though as everytime I turn on Forscan for the car it shows error codes on that module and a few others but maybe it's because the car has not been moving first. I'm not sure.

Anyway what I think you mean is once I'm over this small hurdle I should do the reset procedure for the ABS module. Thanks
