I have a 2011 cmax with keyless start and a key like in the image attached.

I have one key that works in keyless mode and it's buttons work to unlock the car.
A 2nd key that the buttons don't work ( presumed faulty as battery has been changed) it will allow the car to start ONLY when it is inserted into the hole in the steering column.

I bought a blank key that I was hoping to program but I cannot see a PATS section anywhere in forscan!?

I have also tried th method where you turn ignition on/off multiple times until it chimes then are meant to
Press unlock.

Any ideas how I program this key?

I have a 2005 Ford F-150 Lariat model, my truck was stolen last year because a thief found my extra key in my other car. So, i was always missing 1 key and always felt nervous about the thief coming back and taking my truck again.

I bought a blank key from ebay, had it cut from a local locksmith for $2 and was able to add a third key via FORScan following this procedure. Tomorrow i'm going to try to erase all keys and program only the ones that I have in hand. Thank you very much for this program, worked like a charm.

Is there a limit to the number of keys that FORScan will allow you to program?

Hey all, just got a great deal on a 2013 F150 XLT 4x4. Has some problems like the 4.3 screen is out, backup camera screen shows white, SRS light on the center console is always lit (seat sensor detects a person there for seatbelt) and lastly it has one key that the dealer had made (I assume it was made as a master) but someone must've accidentally made it a restricted key with MyKey, and it's limited to 80 MPH and mutes stereo without seatbelt. There's other restrictions I'm sure. I'm just reading about this Forscan software, ordered my ScanTool 426101 OBDLink MX Bluetooth on Amazon. My question before I start going in and deleting keys and trying to load them again is will this work with my "limited' key. Will I be able to get back to having full rights keys. I bought two new keys from Ebay guaranteed to work, had them cut, and ready to go. Please let me know if I will be able to do it. I'll follow the tutorial in the opening post if so! Hopefully, Forscan can help me diagnose some of the other problems also.

Thanks!

I've read every post regarding programing a PATS key.
I have a 2016 Explorer Sport and when connected, I can't find any PATS on the list of any modules.
I don't see how to do the 10 min wait.

Can anyone just point me in the right direction?
