Re: How to program PATS using FORScan v2.3.*
hi I'm new from the forum is a problem with a key added since when I took my party 2005 I gave only one key,
I have the money ford are too high, so I have all the necessary material to insert a key, I bought the key, I brought around the cut, I closed with the Windows license with elm327, unfortunately I have only one key so I'm not sure if the new key is programmable with pats, I posted some photos with the new key inserted as the guide posted with the hope

Programming a new key WHEN YOU ONLY HAVE ONE KEY !! (with FORScan)
Just have a read here ...
There maybe some stuff that will help you ??
PATS key success! Thanks Forscan
*** I only have one key but bought a Stratec blank to try and program...
GREAT NEWS! I was able to get my key programmed without having to do any key erasing! I just went into the menu to learn additional keys and after the security wait and then sticking the new key in, viola. Both keys start the truck! I really like Forscan...

Hey,
Can I program new extra key without master key? Forscan says you need master key with blue tag. (in the pic on the right, I think?)
I have only one normal key with remote and of course new one for programming.
Mondeo 2002.

Re: How to program PATS using FORScan v2.3.*
Hi, thanks to forscan I added a new key, then I bought a virgin key on ebay and then another key used but original I carried the transponder on the virgin key then made it cut, when I opened forscan I noticed that already had 3 keys is what I had understood was unable to add another key, I did the test to program without erasing because I was not sure, first attempt message programming error, second attempt key verification, I look at the counter rose to 4 I test the car lights up, thanks forscan

go quiet, I did everything with your keys, the transponder of your keys are almost the same as my 4d63, is your 4d60 texas silca 1w are yours, but when they are original you will not have problems too I had some doubts but I had success without problems,
I recommend you follow the step by step forscan procedure, let me know

Re: How to program PATS using FORScan v2.3.*
I have a 2016 Focus RS that I would like to add a 3rd key but i'm not sure if this is possible or not.
I have the two original fobs that have both the passive and active chip as well as the keyless entry buttons. the key I want to program is a regular SA key which only has the passive chip.
My questions are the following:
has anyone added a key sucessfully to a push to start vehicle?
Is the only way to "add" a key is by deleting all keys and then going through the programming again on all available keys?
if so how does it handle the active chip?
I currently have the ELM327 which has the switch giving it the ability to do MS/HS and FORScan 2.3.13 beta with the extended license.
