Unplug OBDLink MX+ after updates? 2018 Ford Raptor

Post by in2surfn » Wed Nov 28, 2018 3:42 pm

Hello,
Newbie here with a 2018 Raptor getting ready to try OBDLink MX+ with a Windows tablet.
First simple question- do I unplug the OBDLink after I have made the changes?
Thanks

First thing, as you are new to this is contact your bank manager. This is a tool not a toy. Learn how to make a "backup", that way if you make a boo boo you can go back. Then you will need "battery support" because if the voltage drops it will all go pear shaped. Read everything you can and give it a go, someone on here will help you out of a mess, hopefully.

Yes, after saving them. The OBDLink is just an interface between your truck and your tablet. The changes you made are stored in your trucks modules, not in the OBDLink.
