Ford Software update with Forscan at PCM

Hello, maybe its possible to play new software for the PCM from Ford with forscan to the PCM on my Galaxy control unit. Or is only possible for Ford dealer ?

At this moment FORScan doesn't support ECU reflashing, this is a subject of future development.

Ya, you need Ford IDS to do this. The vcm and ids can match the pump to the pcm BUT you will need an "incode" from Fords etis computor to enable it to work. oh thats only on digi dash models, the older mk6 without digi dash gives you the option of timed or incode, the timed way makes you wait 12 minutes to access the rim module then about another 10 minutes to clear the rim. with incode its instant, hope this helps. You can get a incode calculator or download software from the search engine(i have i.d.s with vcm, vmm is for doing certain checks, vcm links i.d.s to the pcm
