Parktronic retrofit fault u2100 incorrect config

Post by dazst250 » Fri Nov 25, 2016 9:22 pm

I've fitted the active park assist to my 2015 ST3 uk model, I've fitted all missing wires from the plug under the dash to the front bumper loom. I've fitted all 6 sensors to the front bumper and added 2 to the existing 4 on the rear bumper. I've also bought and replaced the PAM module F1ET-15K866-BG.

I've fitted the module and I presume as a replacement at ford they would then re-programme the car. I presume this can be done through ForScan?

This is the original module config

736-01-01 1448 0049 E4
736-02-01 0001 0E00 4F
736-03-01 0600 4200 89
736-04-01 0040 0000 82
736-05-01 2001 1000 74

This is the new module and was coming up with 3 faults?

U0101 lost communication with TCM
U0252 lost communication with lighting control module- rear B
U2100 Initial configuration not complete

736-01-01 0C52 150B BD
736-02-01 0000 0000 40
736-03-01 0001 2300 65
736-04-01 0740 0072 FB
736-05-01 D731 1100 5C

The first 2 faults have gone has the trailer module was turned on in the configurations so I turned it off but I'm still getting the last fault so I presume it's still not configured correctly??

Can anyone help with this cheers

Right so ive been messing with the ST tonight and actually got a little bit further.

Ive found that on the APIM it needs changing in 2 places i'm not sure what for but it would be nice if someone more knowledgeable could look into it.

7D0-02-02 0000 activates the park assist pictogram

So
7D0-02-02 0008 0000 00C1 no pictogram
7D0-02-02 0408 0000 00E7 rear pictoram
7D0-02-02 0508 0000 00E8 front and rear pictogram

7D0-04-02 0000 activates which park assist you have(only 1 data set on this)

so
7D0-04-02 0000 no park assist
7D0-04-02 0001 rear park assist
7D0-04-02 0007 front and rear park assist

Ive used a know set of values from at least 5-6 different cars on ebay that has full park assist and i've checked it with Etis and the awesome program the guy put together himself cannot remember the name sorry?? thank you to @ClockWorK

park assist module set to

736-01-01 1C88 1549 41
736-02-01 0001 0E00 4F
736-03-01 0000 4300 84
736-04-01 0740 2000 A9
736-05-01 3001 3000 A4

Ive still got the U2100 initial configuration fault but its a step further? the button for the front park assist still doesnt work and i don't know if this is a wiring issue or a coding issue possible a bcm bit that needs changing. Im new to this so if ive done something wrong or you need to correct me on something please do so 8-)

Right well it seems like it is a wiring issue the wiring goes from the switch to a plug under the centre console, from there the wires stop? BUT about 7-8 inch in front there's another plug where the wires come from the park assist module.

So seems a bit stupid that ford didn't continue the rest of the wiring which is only actually 3-4 wires! so I did the wires and bingo i have the buttons working.
