Thanks for the logs.

We have analyzed it and we see no problems in procedure start by FORScan. From side of logs it looks like the procedure was started successfully. But on this model FORScan just runs the procedure, and if ECU confirms the start it says that it was started sucessfully. FORScan has no ability to track current status of the procedure after the start. So if procedure failed, let's say, in 10 seconds after the start, FORScam will not know about it and will inform operator about successful execution. Result of operation is calculated from differential pressure sensor data.

Also, we have compared your logs with the one taken from the same model of other users who reported about successful regeneration. The logs are identical.

So, we think the problem is not in FORScan but in the state of DPF system. Something prevents the procedure to be started, and FORScan is unable to get information about it because of specific of the procedure on this model (no feedback from the function). In you logs we see 3 DTCs:

P2463 - soot accumulation. Static regeneration must be performed in case of this DTC
P242F - ash accumulation. In contrast to soot accumulation, ash accumulation in majoirty of cases cannot be resolved by static regeneration. FORScan should show you full set of recommendations for this DTC. Some experience of our users can be found here: http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=247
P2453 - diff.pressure sensor problems. We have no experience about this DTC, but FORScan provides some recommendations for this DTC.

We think either P2453 or P242F may cause failure of static regeneration. We would recommend to address the P2453 first, P242F then.

Alternative is to visit the Ford dealer with this problem. We don't think their equipment will be able to perform the regen too, however they will perform the diagnostic. Most likely they will check hoses, connections and if they are ok, they will recommend you DPF and/or DPS replacement.

Thanks for taking the time to investigate and reply..

I decided to get the DPF removed and get the engine remapped.
