Fuel Injector Correction factor TDCI
Hello,
I am the owner of Ford S-MAX, Duratorq TDCI 2.0, 103kW, 2009.
I'm using ELM327 without MS-CAN. I am able to see a lot of values from several modules.
But I was interested in values of "injectors correction factor". However I am not able to find these values.
Can you please guide me, how to find it?

This engine has no indvidual injector codes. Instead of, it has so-called classification number. It means that all injectors have the same classification number, and any injector replaced must have the same classification number. FORScan has no special function to read current classification number (in contrast ECU with individual injector codes), but you can use the Change Fuel Injector Correction Factors procedure in the Service section to read it. Start the procedure, it will show you existing code and ask for new one, click cancel to close the function.

Maybe I didn't use the correct words as I am not the expert.
If I understood it correctly, system adapts the amount of injected fuel during the engine lifetime.
If the injector is not working optimal or getting older, this value is high (max 2 or 3).
I think that it is also called fuel offset. The measure unit is mg/stroke.
Maybe the PID is F_INJ_A, F_INJ_B, ...
Is it possible to read these values with Forscan?

Your engine has CylBal_1...CylBal_4 PIDs instead of F_INJ_A...F_INJ_D

Hello everyone!
I'm interesting in functions of resetting injectors learned values.
My car is Focus mk2 11.2004 2,0TDCI with PCM Siemens SID803 (version without "A").
I haved deformated conrod on a 3th cylinder and piston -2,0mm lowered (low compression than rest of cylinders). Engine run rough. Now I this engine repaired, but on cold idle running rough and hesitating. When I resetting Keep Alive Memory my engine run like a new one on a few minutes (on damaged conrod resetting KAM without any results).
Before problem with conrod engine running perfectly.
Could I see any functions of resetting injectors in Forscan for my car?

why do you think the problem is in injector/PCM learned values? Does FORScan read any DTCs from PCM? Anyway, here is answer to you questions:
All injector reset functions for this model are already implemented in FORScan (at least, we have no information about other functions that exist for this model). These are:
1. Reset All Adaptations
Strongly speaking it is not injector but global reset function, however it affects injectors too. On Focus Mk3 1.6 a special "learning" procedure is required after performing this function (http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=468), however we don't think it is actual for 2.0 as the PCM is different (so mention about it "just in case").
2. Reset pilot injection quantity learned values
3. Reset minimum drive pulse (MDP) learned values
4. Change fuel injector correction factors
Last one is used when an injector is replaced, however it may force some re-learning process in PCM (absolutely no idea how/if it will affect your PCM).

I have Ford S-MAX 2.0 tci 163 stage V from 2011. I can not find:
CylBal_1...CylBal_4 or F_INJ_A...F_INJ_D
PIDS in PCM module.
Is it supported by FORSCAN for my engine?

For your engine FORScan has the following PIDS that can be used for contribution/balance test:
IBDSO - Injector balance delta speed for cylinder 1
IBDST - Injector balance delta speed for cylinder 2
IBDSTH - Injector balance delta speed for cylinder 3
IBDSF - Injector balance delta speed for cylinder 4
IBDSO - Injector balance delta speed for cylinder 1
IBDST - Injector balance delta speed for cylinder 2
IBDSTH - Injector balance delta speed for cylinder 3
IBDSF - Injector balance delta speed for cylinder 4

When I used those PIDS I see "error" in output.

Looks like you are right and these PIDs do not work properly. We have fixed it, the fix will be included in v2.2.2, also we will send you test version and information using PM.
