PATS blank key check

Post by Jreaper_07 » Sat Feb 15, 2020 10:18 pm

Going over the PATS blank key check it states to insert a blank key and check the DTCs. I'm assuming the "blank" key mentioned is an uprogrammed key and not an actual uncut blank key. Since a blank key cannot turn on the ignition to communicate with forscan.

Am I correct here?
Thanks
