I appreciate you at least recognizing this forum topic and addressing it. I will have to move away from FORscan for the moment. Hopefully you guys get the opportunity to get such a great feature operational soon.

Forscan typical sees devices like ELM which only use CAN bus which isnt capable of doing those things. To get the cylinder balance test or relative compression you need an adapter that does J2534 such as a VCM2 but if you have that device you would be using Ford IDS to do those tests anyway. Regardless though its very impressive what forscan manages to be able to access and use just with the CAN bus alone.

Long story short if you want to be able to get the power balance test and relative compression test as well as programming abilities go buy a VCM 2 clone that has 2 boards. Costs about 200 bucks. GL
