1995 Lincoln Town "Check Air Ride Suspension" light is on.

Post by seanagins »

This Air Force veteran that is ninety years old asked for help on his 1995 Lincoln Town Car. Air Ride Suspension monitoring system is throwing a trouble code. Tried hooking up Snap On scanner as default and standard procedure for the shop I am working for currently only to learn that we would have to buy a special adapter for the scanner to read his air ride suspension trouble codes. I promptly thought to myself, "I wonder if FORscan can help"? Now, I do NOT plan on bombarding the forum with our daily work, but this ninety year old vet that could barely walk WITH a cane, only concern was getting two bags of produce from his garden to the techs and getting his car looked at. Am I able to pull his trouble codes, possibly "monitor" and diagnosis this situation, utilizing FORscan? Please let me know...

The only way to retrieve codes is with a Ford Super Star or the red brick with the correct adapter. What is the concern with the airbags? Try to describe it to me, and I'll try to help.

BTW, Forscan won't work for this vehicle, so don't waste you time there.
