Forscan wont ID the ABS module

Post by ksbadboy66 » Mon Dec 02, 2019 12:54 am

I have a 2005 F250 4x4 with the 6.0 powerstroke. When i start Forscan and scan the truck, it shows all the modules but the ABS. I know theres a fault in it cause the light is on. Ive replaced that VSS in the pumpkin and the VSS on top of the Tranny. Still the light stays on and the speedo isnt working. Had a wire chaffed on the rear one and fixed it. Same with the left one on the front. Im having a hell of a time trying to find out what sensor is bad or what else can be wrong!
I know the fuel sending unit is bad but the speedo and abs light just started. Heres the scan i ran saturday. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated!

Well after so many people commented on this post id thought id update it. I tried to use a scan tool that reads ABS and still didnt have any luck. So i decided i was gonna check the wiring harness and took it off the ABS Module and cleaned it and re applied Die Electric Grease and put it back on. Started the truck and abs light went out and stayed off. The speedo had started to work and kept working. this after replacing many sensors and checking all the grounds. Hope this helps anyone else with this problem!!

i have the same issue, did the module show up on FORscan once you added the dielectric grease? BTW what obdII device are you using?

for me the dielectric grease did not solve the issue. The problem was both the ground wires had open shorts (15k+ ohms).
