Note about old/new Extended License keys (starting from FORScan v2.3.22)

After downloading the license to my download folder it would not instantiate after double clicking on it. recognizing it as a .reg file, I renamed it to a .reg file and loaded it that way. will this work?

Recently, I seem to only be able to generate a trial license, when I attempt to change a setting in PCM or BCM, forscan tells me a I need an extended license. I never had this issue in the past, and I am only looking to perform basic modifications, such as retrieve keyless entry code and disable horn chirp.

Have you checked the Date on your Computer ... to make sure its up to date ?

Yes, thanks, the computer date is correct, as is updates. I dont get any new information on the forscan app when I load the new license. I load the new key, program restarts and issues remain. any help is greatly appreciated.

issues with extended license key. ive had no issues for 2 years, i had 2.4 beta forescan, i put new license key kept giving me errors etc. even though i jjjust created a new key.

i downloaded the 2.36 i think, made another key, its refusing to let me access anything. i am working on a mustang and when i click apim as built as, it says need extended, but i just created extended and loaded it like 20 times. and restarted laptop and program several times.

is there an issue going on at the moment? its acting like its not recognizing the extendfed keys generated
