Escape Hybrid PCM Programming

Post by homebeforedark » Fri Jan 11, 2019 12:15 pm

I bought a 2007 Escape Hybrid that was struck by lightning. The strike took out the TCM,EPS module, and the ABS module. (which is a real pain on the hybrids) I replace the modules and installed the as built values as necessary. I still got a no start from a shut down code that would not clear. All pin point tests passed so I took the PCM that was purchased by the PO and installed it and the shut down code is cleared but now it's in anti-theft mode. The PCM must have been pre-programmed as it displays the correct VIN. Module initialization did not cure the no start. So the question is should I erase and re-program the keys or does it have to go to a shop with IDS capabilities?
