I got my extended license on Monday of this week. Installed fine, did a quick mod. Went to deactivate the auto start/stop today and my license has returned to standard. I tried reinserting it,still says standard.

I am being prompted that I need an extended license to accesses any module. I was specifically going to modify the APIM but also could not access the ICM either.

What am I missing?

I am sending this request from my desktop PC. I have the FORSCAN app loaded on my laptop. I have the standard license loaded but I need help installing the extended license. I did all the preliminary requirements and got the license downloaded. However, I can't install it. It tells me I need an application to activate it. I lost my original standard license code in case I need it. Please help.

You need to generate the license and download it to PC, then open the *.key file using Windows Explorere or any other file commander. Confirm adding record to the registry. New key will replace old one.
Explorer tries to open the file but can't. Is the problem my computer?

As I wrote earlier, read the very first post of this thread.
Read carefully. It will tell you two ways to enable the license in the application.

I have tried both ways as shown on the About page. NOTHING WORKS. My computer is showing Forscan as the directory in windows and wants me to type in a "file name" to continue to open the file. I don't know what to put in that "file name" category to complete this process. Can anyone please help me with this extended license problem?
