Re, ... I have re-installed Windows (updated PC etc) and Extended License key is lost. What to do?

If you own paid Extended License, just retry the activation with the same Activation Code received after purchase. If you lost your Activation Code, please contact support and provide email or other information you used for the purchase. Support team will identify you and re-send you your Activation Code.

I have taken out a trial lic for the PC to learn the operation of the software and purchased an MX+ to complete the set up.

I have just purchased on line the Android app for my phone and realise that the Extended lic that I need is not loaded by default, I have read the threads relating to this and agree it needs to be managed.

Am I able to use the payment of the Android app to qualify for the PC based extended lic or do I have to pay again for the PC extended licence ?

Clearly the PC is needed for the extended functionality currently and is probably a better interface to use the restricted functions.

I notice the online web page identifies me has having 'Paid' for the Android app nice touch it recognised me.

It's because you don't have to open the license file with Adobe Reader.

License needs to be loaded into ForScan software, not to be opened with other softwares.
In the 1st post of this same thread, read B.1 and following.

Followed B.1 been through it all again , for some reason this laptop insists on down loading free extended Lisc as PDF File, have reinstalled Adobe Reader DC same result, clearly something is corrupted or has corrupted the FORscan download file, have run full security system check with defender
comes up all clear, any help from your vast experience appreciated

Do not *open* the file with Adobe Reader.
Instead *save* the file on your drive, in a location of your choice.
Then load the file in ForScan, as in the 1st post.
