Hi all,

I was able to generate and install the trial license.

However I would like to inform the board that during the key generation process I was receiving the error "Hardware ID is not entered or incorrect", but nothing was wrong with my Hardware ID. I was entering a phone number of 15 digits starting with intl code 00. I have removed the 00 and was able to generate the key without any change to the HW ID. I don't know if the intl code was not needed or if the total length was the problem.

So it looks like there is a mistake in the error message displayed (Hardware ID is not entered or incorrect) when the tel number doesn't meet the requirement of the field.

Yesterday (March 02) license server was down for about a hour around 14:00 - 15:00 GMT. We suspect the problems reported above were caused by this downtime.

I've put the file into the programme files folder but Forscan can't see it, any ideas?

If you are talking about the key file for the license, do as said in the first page :

"
4. You have 2 ways to apply the license key:
4.1. Just double-click on the file and confirm adding the registry record, then restart FORScan.
4.2. Use button Load license key in FORScan->About section, then agree to restart the application."

Hi
I would like to program a new key to my Focus but supported models are quoted as "Focus Mk1 1.8 TDCi 2001-2002 model year" mine is a 2005 facelift model (mk1.5), will it be supported in a future update?
Thanks in advance

FORScan should support Focus Mk1.5, did you try it? Doesn't service tab have PATS function?

No not tried it yet, waiting for a new elm327 to arrive, was just asking as the first post suggest that it will only work on 2001 - 2002 models, will let you know the outcome as soon as elm327 arrives

Hi there,
I try today to install the key file for trial extendet licens, but it dosen't work.
Download the file for two times, each file got the correct Hardware ID.
Imorting to regestry or load inside of Forscan without error message.
Restry said importing sucsessful, trying to load in Fordscan said please restart Forscan...
But no changes, the about screen said Standart licens
Trying to reprogramm the GEM and IC failed with error "Sorry, you need extendet licens"
Maybe it's cause the 2.3.0 Beta?

Greetings from a underground car park in the middle-east of Munich
