Hi Just recently discovered Forscan & trying to get to grips with understanding it all correctly
I've had dpf problems since I bought my Transit Custom van about 7 months ago so wanted to find a diagnostic tool to perform a regen myself.
Then Had Forscan recommended as a way to do this with an adapter.

My Question is -On the PIDS for reading the DFP it comes up with DFP load 139% & DPF soot 125% does this mean that my dpf is over loaded with soot & on the way out or am I reading it wrong? Both load & soot have the same thing written after them except ones closed loop & ones open loop, what does that mean?

I only ask because I've only just had a static regen done about a week ago by a mechanic (I watched him do it)

Dangerous with that amount of soot load. Take it off and get it cleaned. A static regen could burn the car down. Very surprised your mechanic tried.
