I am using Forscan version 2.3.28 on my windows 10 laptop. I cannot access any module on my 2019 Superduty. I get the message, "Sorry, you need an extended license to run this function" for every selected module.
I've searched around this forum and have read that I do not need an extended license. I am new to Forscan… am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: I ended up buying an extended license for $10 for 1 year. I had no idea it was that cheap. All good now!
so im new to forscan but 30 years in the automotive/heavy truck industry as of 2 weeks ago. today i just ordered the forscan recommended obd2. will I need to purchase a license to change things like bambi mode or others? what can I do with the non license forscan. I have V2.3.29 on windows 10 laptop. thank you, and cant wait to start to use this.

Go to the Products page and you can get a 2 month Extended License for free. There are also options to purchase a 1 year, 3 year, 5 year, or lifetime license.

Having the same issue of unable to write to IPC on 2019 Fusion Sport, windows 10, forscan 2.3.31 (latest beta) and using wired adapter with MS/CAN switch.

Not sure this will help anyone or not, I was doing a digital dash upgrade in 2019 mustang, and i had already had a Profile saved in forscan, every change i tried to make on the new IPC was failing, either at 3x% or 100% then get a failed message in the log. I final found that if i started forscan and Said NO to my already configured profile, and let it scan everything again, and then saved under a new profile name (v2 My19...) i was finaly able to program the IPC.

Hope this helps someone...

In my case itried erasing previous profiles and it didn't work.

Today i've a quick test with the new forscan update and also don't work.

I'll try with calm in a days 🤞🏼

Had same IPC issue on 2018 F250
When connecting say no to the option to pull up the Identified model of your truck and this will write the complete configuration and pull up all options Including the IPC

Changing to a S&B 60 gal fuel tank and needed to adjust DTE through IPC file

Worked for me.....good luck
