I had a Ford EcoSport 2018 to program rcm today and ForScan wont detect car at all. if i choose ford explorer from previous scan then it scan some of the module..
We kindly ask everyone who experience this problem one newest models and latest version of FORScan send us debug information as described here:

https://forscan.org/contactus.html#debug_info

You will help to improve the project, and we will provide you with a test build that has the problem fixed.

ALL NEW GATEWAY MODULE .cars and trucks that use the NEW 128 bit .flip key remote WILL NOT program .with FORScan the old 80 bit IKT key .used timed access 600 sec. to gain security access .ford now does this live w/ a registered ford tech user name and password .and every 30-45 days techs must change their password . so at this point I see no way to ,do any PATS programing

So I had this same issue with the OBDLink MX and when I read this post I thought that it was the version that I was using 2.3.18. I finally realized that I had a profile from my previous bluetooth OBD device, so I deleted it. After the re-initialization of the new device, all of the modules were found. I now have temperature numbers in my gauges and mirrors that fold on lock for my 2018 Super Duty.

Hi folks - new to the forum and the world of programming my Ford truck. Recently got a new 2019 F250 and would like to have the mirrors fold in on lock from the remote. Is it still possible on the 2019's given the new 128 bit key and FDS (think that's what it is called).

Thanks!

Any help appreciated. I turned off the double honk and also enabled Police mode as suggested however now when I put the truck in reverse the interior lights turn on. Can anyone tell me why or how to turn them off.

Was hoping for more of an answer on this. Tried accessing the IPC module yesterday on my friends 2019 F550. 2.3.19 doesn't even list the module so it maybe running on a different network. I'm running a wired connection so without mscan capabilities. Could I access it with a mscan device?

I'm running FORScan 2.3.19 beta with an OHP ELMconfig Forscan OBD2 Adapter with MS-Can & HS-Can Switch for Ford DIY Diagnostics on Windows. I have a 2019 Ford F350 and can not see the IPC module atr all. Everything else seems to be working, but most of the things I want to change are in the IPC. I've been searching the forums for a solution, but still no luck. I see others have had success with this wired OBD2 and my drivers are current so I don't think that is the issue. Not sure what else to try.

--UPDATE: Thanks to rshayne's post. Once I reread his post and deleted my existing profile I was able to get the missing modules. Thanks!

Hi all,

everyone who has issues with writing on IPC please provide the Debug Information (attached here on via e-mail to the FORScan developer).
https://forscan.org/contactus.html#debug_info

When I got the provided information here right then the issue appears on newer cars like Fiesta MK8 or Focus MK4.
IPC can be read out but writing is not possible.
If anyone has a solution to it - please provide it - on the other hand when enough debugging infos are provided to the DEV-Team they can figure out what is causing this.

Thx

most of the problems are caused by :-
1 , clone elm327
2 , using the wrong adaptor - wireless version.
3 , ipc not support due to newer modules (always check the update changes to verify your car is supported

we can not keep distracting the devs or else any bugs and updates will take longer to release because they will be too busy checking everyones debug files and chasing something that isnt the fault of forscan .
so if you want to send them the debug files please make sure none of the above apply .
thank you
