Still no luck disabling mykey. I just updated the to version 2.3.14,and updated my extended license.

I am attempting to add a third key now. It looks like my tradition “8-cut" style key needs to be programmed with a 12-minute inverval between key 1 and key 2 reads.

The dealer only provide us with two keys, not three..

And programming failed. Do I have to clear this mykey first?

Can someone help me? I've been trying to use Forscan to disable Mykey altogether but i cant seem to connect. I have a '15 Fusion SE, and i bought this OBD tool https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F0 ... nk20295-20
Its only USB so i tried connecting through the windows verison of forscan but its not working. Am i missing a step? All i did was unbox the tool, plug it right in, and tried to connect to forscan. Also when connected to the OBD port in the car, the tool seems to stay on a solid red light only. Any ideas?

There's a new way to do this without having to download your body control module and it only takes about 5-10 minutes to do. Without having to use a computer. Without having 2 keys and without having the 2.1V software. I came up with this way of clearing the MyKey issue on my 2014 Lincoln MKZ. I only have one key to my car and it got set to a MyKey when I replaced my battery. How I'm uncertain. I only have the V1.5 firmware and I also kept having the issue with not being able to connect to Focccus/Forscan or any other app that might allow the MyKey reset. There is only one app that I found that helped allow me to get the MyKey bypassed but it did not make it permanent at first! I made a video to show and describe all the steps I took to get the MyKey cleared. If you all need any help with this, just let me know. Thanks!

There is a different way to do this. I had to come up with a different way because I only had the v1.5 bluetooth and couldn't connect to Forscan or Focccus. I made a video that may help some of you. Here is the link https://youtu.be/v0XrsYOXHB8

What Wbuffalo742 wrote is using another software Fordsys Pro. I don't mind promoting some other product but I hate when it's done like this: check my Youtube..
What he does, after connecting, seems with keyless option only, is to:
- choose PCM (Power Control Module)
- press KOER (Key On Engine Running) to start engine in remote mode
- walk away with the key
- power the car off
- choose again menu Key on
- go to Settings and clear MyKey.

What anchezadann wrote is adding 2nd key and than using it to remove MyKey. Trouble is that cannot be done with all vehicles, such as Focus Mk3.

Help, I was using the FOCCCUS program to deactivate the Mykey and for some reason the car turned off and does not turn on anything, only the radio, so I can not re-enter the ECU because I can not put the ignition (it is a button start).
