Any plans on supporting Advanced Keyless Entry & start?

Post by Cellular-Decay » Tue May 30, 2017 9:15 am

I have a 2011 Mazda MX-5/Miata GT with advanced keyless entry and start. It uses Ford PATS (Ford and Mazda were in a partnership when the 3rd generation Miata was made). It has a Mazda tuned version of the 2.0L Ford duratec engine and an EcuTek control module.

The keyless remote has an auxiliary key for use when the remote battery fails, and it uses the same transponder, engine immobiliser system as the non-AKE models. It would be nice if we could at least program additional auxiliary keys. Programming keys and new keyless remotes would be seriously awesome!

Is this something that is being worked on?

Is there anything I can do to help?

I know a lot of people on the Mazda/Miata forums that would be very happy if this could be implemented.

Thanks! FORScan is awesome. I recommend it all the time on the forums.
