Fiesta MK7 Modules

Post by Denis Watts » Wed Mar 01, 2017 12:25 am

[I have recently had trouble with voice recognition on my 2008 Fiesta. The radio works fine still but the steering wheel controls do not, and if I receive a phone call it only comes from left side speakers only and I have to turn the volume right up to hear it. I have just replaced the bluetooth voice module (8M5T-19G488-AJ) For a module with USB (8M5T-19C112-AM) thinking I could upload latest ford software which may solve the problem. I have used Forscan to tell my car it now has a USB connection but this will not work and I get the code U2101 Module incompatible. Does anyone know if this is because I have to alter the data in the new module? Read somewhere that the vin number of the car should be written into the module but I don`t know if this is correct, or how to do it. Please can anyone help? (

Were you ever able to get this sorted? I've done the nav update, but lost voice control / left steering wheel buttons.
