2016 SMAX BCM

Post by skipzoid » Sun Oct 23, 2016 4:00 pm

Hello The BCM in our 2016 Smax doesnt seem to be supported.

Does anyone know when it might be?

I'd like to enable auto lock , but being a novice and not found what the code is that needs changing I'm a bit stuck.

It seems the BCM codes start 726- something. ideas and help for a novice would be welcome..
thankyou.

First, please tell me which cable do you have? You need an modified ELM327 cable with a switch to choose between HS CAN / MS CAN, look here:

http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4

For more information to activate e.g. Autolock i will help you.

Ok thats fine. Do you also have the free extended License of Forscan? I use Version 2.3.4 of Forscan, otherwise --> http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=836 or direct link http://forscan.org/forum/extlic.php

To enable Autolock you have to change the Asbuilt Data in IPC-Module.

Search for Line (You could have other values):

720-01-01  0C66  F464  7A6D  Autolock disabled Original
720-01-01  0C67  F464  7A6E  Autolock denabled Current

Change the value of the bold 4th byte in my case from 6 to 7. Also increase the value of checksum (last two bytes) from 6D to 6E (in my case). That's it.

If you have other values then increment the value by 1 also the Checksum, increase the value by 1.

I hope this will help you.

HI,

Thanks for the suggestion, my codes where originally ;
720-01-01 0C66 B464 6215

I changed it to ;

720-01-01 0C67 B464 6216 and wrote it back,

it reset the IPC which gave an odd effect of also changing the clock to 12 Hour, turned off auto timezode and setting the tempreture to farenheit and turn on the touch bleep

Sadly, hasnt actully enabled autolock, either I've done something wrong, its a different code or there is something else I've got to change as well.

Hello,

in my opinion you have done all right. Its possible that you have to enable more values in BCM-Module.

In this spreadshhet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0 you can find more values for AutlockBCM-Module:

726-15-01 0101 0101 0148 Autolock enabled in productivity screen settings
726-15-01 0101 0101 0047 Autolock disabled in productivity screen settings

726-15-02 0000 0000 0145 Auto relock enabled
726-15-02 0000 0000 0044 Auto relock disabled

726-16-01 0101 0101 0149 Autounlock enabled in productivity screen settings
726-16-01 0101 0101 0048 Autounlock disabled in productivity screen settings

For my Galaxy i had to change only the values in IPC-Module. But i had a closer look at my BCM-Values (ASBuilt) some of them are already activated:

726-15-01 0202 0202 024D

726-15-02 0101 0101 0149

726-16-01 0101 0101 0149

I think you can give it a try.

Edit: You can give me your VIN (per PN) and i will have a look to your ASBuilt Data.

Hallo,

habe Auto Lock aktiviert - allerdings ist nur eine! Änderung erforderlich

720-01-01 0F66 F464 7A70 Original
750-01-01 0F67 F464 7A70 Änderung -> Save -> Autolock ist aktiviert!

Lediglich die Sprache wurde auf Englisch geändert und von mir wieder auf Deutsch zurückgestellt.

Viele Grüße
Alex

Sorry - ein kleiner Fehler:

Ich hatte geschrieben:
720-01-01 0F66 F464 7A70 Original
750-01-01 0F67 F464 7A70 Änderung -> Save -> Autolock ist aktiviert!

muss natürlich in IPC_ASBUILT in der 2. Zeile heißen:
720-01-01 0F67 F464 7A70 Änderung -> Save -> Autolock ist aktiviert! (da ändert sich ja nichts ;)

Sorry!
