First line:
<AS_BUILT_DATA><VEHICLE><VIN>1FAFP53U12A258905</VIN><VEHICLE_DATA><DATA LABEL=""><CODE>0BE2</CODE><CODE>3AFE</CODE>
1FAFP53U12A258905 = 2002 Ford Taurus
How is that even possible - typed in the wrong VIN.

Read the .pdf manual again and use keyboard combination Ctrl+F
Type in the word Navigation, you will find more than 40 entries.

If you have the correct SYNC that fits that model, you may need this:

If yours is a touch screen - bring up navigation and put your finger on the circle that shows your location and pull that circle to the actual location where your vehicle currently is at. If you are at home pull the circle to exactly where you are. My MKC navigation was out about 400 yards and when I pulled it over to my residence location where the car was at, this corrected it and has been accurate ever since. That was over 4 years ago. Never had to add an antenna.
Checked your new VIN and wow - shows all modules now.

I see that you have this module:
Global Positioning Sensor Module
GPSM 701-01-01 404A

So that should be your antenna.

Circle flashing is normal - just draws your attention to your vehicle's location even when driving as you move along.

Just just noticed on the left side of display where it say GPS
There is a red X over the letters. So I guess antenna issues?

As a long shot, with Forscan check to see if you still have the same line as in your original Asbuilt downloaded from the Motorcraft site:
GPSM 701-01-01 404A

The 404A should be there. If it's not - make it 404A and write. Or you may have to reload the GPS module from the original Asbuilt download if the line is missing. As ecmbuster suggested it could also be an antenna problem.

Some people also have some problems with Ebay SD cards, especially Sync2 version 3.10 downloaded from Ford.
