Ignition flip key FORScan programming

Post by Quper » Mon Nov 18, 2019 8:12 am

I have a 2016 Fusion SE and I only have 1 key for it. I bought a brand new Ford key and had it cut. When I insert the key and turn the ignition to the on position answer then run DTCs using FORScan I get a DTC under BdyCM showing the key is goodbye but unprogrammed. So I understand that’s the PATS module isn’t under the BdyCM. However, when I open SERVICE on FORScan and look for PATS to program the new new key there’s is no option for the PATS module. All the videos and information I can find are on older cars. The instructions on FORScan.org are also based on an older car.

Can anyone help me?

You can see at https://forscan.org/download.html searching for "PATS" that Fusion key is supported only for "Fusion (North America market) 2010-2012 model years".
