Seatbelt Chime 2019 Ford Escape

Mornin Guys, I need to disable the seatbelt chime on our 19 Escape, its driving all the drivers insane, we drive it on an airport at 10-15 mph, and get in and out frequently.

I did try the codes given for the F150 (only ones i could find on here) and neither of those worked.

Anyone have anything ideas on the 19 Escape ? any help would be most appreciated.

In the Escape it is done in Central Configuration. See here:

There is also a procedure in the owners manual for deactivating the belt-minder. Look in the Seatbelts section.

I have read all 147 replies on that page.........there is NOTHING in there about seatbelt chimes, and NOTHING about 2019 Escapes, and yes there is procedure in manual for cars with keys, this one is push button.

Sorry It takes me so long to respond, working midnights kinda sucks......

however, I think I might have got it with the clicking the seatbelt 5 times or 6 I dont remember now, but so far, the light stays on (Which is good) but NO DINGING..........

I appreciate the help so far, and I hope this just works.....

I am continually trying to learn FORscan, as I have a 2012 Explorer, so Im always trying to learn.

Have you tried entering Central Configuration on your Escape? There should be an item called "Front passenger seatbelt reminder". Just click the dropdown menu and select "Without Beltminder".

Ok, Apparently the clicking of the seat belt didnt work......so I did try to go to the central configuration, but it kept giving me error, asking to do download file from internet....see images, and even if you click cancel, the dash flashes and FORscan says services interrupted and will not continue
