2016 2.0 diesel Mondeo Mk5 P244D - Exhaust Temp Too High ....

Wonder if someone can help I have the fault code P244D - Exhaust Temp Too High For Particulate Filter Regeneration Bank 1 on my 2016 mondeo Mk5 Bi-Turbo.

The car just cut out - no warning- and would not restart.

After appx 45 minutes I was able to start and get home in limp mode.

No other codes are showing using forscan. I had the same or similar fault on the car appx 2 years ago and the ford dealer replaced the EGT sensor under warranty to resolve the problem.....

I was trying to see if I could clear the fault code by resetting the learnt EGT sensor values and monitor the sensor outputs but cannot see a function on Forscan for the mondeo Mk5 (2.0 Bi-Turbo) to reset the values.

I note you can reset the PCM module but as I am not 100% sure what that actually resets so did not try that option

Can anyone give some advice on how to reset the exhaust gas temp sensor learnt values.

Many thanks
